woke up this morning with heavy eyelids .
argh .
had to fast this whole morning for my blood test .
i really thought it was just a prick in the finger like what i usually do for my blood glucose monitoring.
then , when the lab assistant ask me to go to the clinic to have my blood test ,
then i really really was scared .
the last time i did a blood test and had to fast was early this year too .
i waited anxiously outside the clinic .
gah !
the doctor was like telling me it will be okay and all .
first he tied a rope above my elbow tightly ,
find my vein and swab the part with alcohol swab ..
then he tried to distract me while he took the needle cover off to expose a very long needle .
i have to tell you first ,
it is not as easy being injected by people because they dont feel what you feel .
it is easier injecting yourself , like how i do every 3 times per day .
so i cant help it but stare as the needle poke my skin and went into my body .
i did feel the sharp poke at first then it was like very itchy .
he draw the blood up into the syringe and at the same time , my whole arm when numb and weak. my blood was being sucked out ... duh !
my arm still feel a bit limp now .
i swear , i hate having my blood draw from my arm ... but it was cool looking at my blood filled up the tubes the doctor had in front of him , with every tube having a sticker with my particulars on it .
not back at home , and i can finally eat .
phew ...
and im sleepy tooo ...
eyelids are drawing heavy ..
*yawns*
i think i take an afternoon nap ...
